Two sizes of oval ramekins. I wonder if smaller one or larger is better for after dinner desserts?

The large would be a nice size for a shared dessert for two. I often use it to heat side dishes for 1 or 2. It blends well with many contemporary place settings and cuts down on dirty dishes.
